Playboy X Special Product Design at International Pop-up Shops


In celebration of Playboy’s 60th anniversary, Special Product Design created a suite of apparel and accessories that imbue the quintessentially American brand with high fashion appeal. The collection is complemented by partnerships with brands including Olympia Le-Tan, Hillier, Lucien Pellat-Finet and Bearbrick.

For this special collection, Olympia Le-Tan reimagined Playboy covers as coveted cartoon bunny book clutches. Lucien Pellat-Finet released a luxurious grey printed cashmere sweater and a skull print Bearbrick collectible toy, nail salon Disco designed nail art, and Hillier designed an 18k gold vermeil Rabbit Head Design necklace.

The collection was revealed first in a pop-up shop in Paris Colette in January 2014, and has since been featured all over the world in stores including Isetan in Tokyo, Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.

Most recently, the pop-up shop at Lane Crawford’s BLITZ store in Hong Kong played host to a BLITZ x Playboy cocktail party on March 6 with Playmates Alana Campos and Jessa Hinton (pictured above).
