Charitable Giving

Playboy has long been a steward of corporate responsibility based on its belief in the First Amendment and support for organizations with like-minded principles.  The Playboy Mansion and Chicago's art-filled Playboy headquarters are often used for non-profit fundraisers and charity events.  Tickets to Playboy events, such as Mansion parties and the Jazz Festival, are occasionally donated to silent auction charity events to benefit the sponsoring organizations.

Employees of Playboy also are generous with their time and resources for causes in which they believe.  To encourage volunteer work and contributions to charitable causes, Playboy instituted an extra incentive for employees to give back to their communities. The company matches charitable donations of up to $1000 per year per employee and, in its Dollars for Doers program, pays $10 per hour of volunteered time on behalf of its employees to charitable organizations.

Parental Control

We are living in a high-tech world where programming choices abound and the ways to view content are very sophisticated. While many parents want to control what their kids are exposed to, they simply don't know how. The Take Parental Control initiative, sponsored by Playboy Enterprises, Inc., educates parents about how to keep adult material out of the hands of their children based on all platforms: computers, cell phones, videogames, satellite radio, wireless devices and television.  Visit www.takeparentalcontrol.org.
